This building contemplates the offices, warehouses and distribution center of the german company Triumph International Overseas, dedicated to the manufacture of lingerie and swimming suits.
Being Triumph a multinational company, the building had to fulfill a high standard of quality in its construction, security and technology besides the use of viable systems of power saving. These requirements defined the main parameters of the design.
The building is located in the park of businesses ENEA near the airport in a site of 6.000m2, in the intersection of two great avenues. This corner site determines a unique volume of double facade, constructed in brick plate reinforced concrete walls, alternating different textures that give an industrial and timeless character to the construction.
The offices are developed in three levels oriented towards the west, protected by a perforated micro lattice window that acts like one double skin of passive solar protection. The warehouses to lodge the activities of packing, storage and unloading were designed in pillars and prefabricated concrete panels that support a future growth in height, with windows of automatic opening in the cover like system of natural illumination and ventilation.
The result of the project is a timeless architecture that reflects the traditional spirit of the company. The building of offices and warehouses projected evokes the classic volumetry of the traditional factories. It was privileged the use of noble materials like the glass, brick and concrete which gave remarkable industrial character to de building.
