TVN is located on the east side of Bellavista neighborhood, a turistic district known by it’s restaurants and variety of artists studios, at the lower part of San Cristóbal hill, icon of the city.

The project is located on an inflection point between Bellavista and the San Cristobal, it´s surrounded by green areas that respond in different ways to the city and to the hill, being these green areas the ones that conect TVN´s city and Santiago City.

TVN wants to express an image of unity and institutional logic, opened to modernity, technology and national identity, making it´s history devoted to public service worthy, opening to our society and respecting our natural enviroment.

The project encourages the crossing and exchange of ideas and experiences, motivating the creativity, improvement and constant renovation.

TVN city posses a lot of meeting places, parks, squares and galeries, that combine an audiovisual industrial production with a creativity industrial production.

It consists on an Exchange Gallery, a spinal cord that articulates the running of the building.

The gallery is closed and covered by aluminium and glass, allowing natural lighting in, and giving differents perspectives to the city and the San Cristóbal hill.

The gallery is the point of convergence of the three functional levels: the warehouse movement level, the access platform, and the offices level.

From the Comunication square and the Exchange Gallery, you can get at the same time, an exterior panoramic vision of Santiago city and an inside vision of TVN city.

The formal and functional structure of TVN`s city and its level distribution, allows flexibility in its use.

From level +-0 (square level) untill level -3 (parking), architecture is tectonic, strong and closed, express with exposed reinforced concrete .

Form level +-0 (Square level) untill level +2 (office) the architecture is light and with defined volumes, given through a game of reflections and transparencies.
