In the last years Luis Pasteur Avenue has become a long commercial boulevard, with several analog groups, forming a semi continuous edification with 2 floors, quite orderly.

This configuration conforms a tree lined and shaded square with one floor level, based on the widening of the street, encouraged by a Virgen del Carmen image on glazed ceramic. The commercial units are basically large shop windows, 8 meters tall and 5 meters width, with a superior projecting slab, which protects from the sun, inviting to enter and giving individuality for each shop. At the back façade, little square windows generate an interesting rhythm.

A simple commercial complex can conform a good square with the repetition of its modules, just as it was made with the Portal de Sierra Bella, at the Main Square of Santiago, back in 1850.
